Deadline to Change Party Affiliations

In a statement today, State Republican Party Chairman Jerry Labriola, Jr. reminded disaffected Democrats that they have until January 24th to switch party affiliation to Republican in order to vote in Connecticut’s presidential primary on April 24.
“There’s no need to put it off any longer,” said Labriola. “If you’re tired of being in a party which stands for oppressive high taxation, coddling of government union bosses and absolutely no job growth for over 20 years in Connecticut then this is your chance.”
Those interested in switching affiliations should visit the Registrar of Voters at their town hall before the Tuesday, January 24thdeadline.
“It only takes five minutes to stop down to your local town hall and visit your Registrar of Voters office to switch parties,” added Labriola.
